COVID-19 will accelerate all underlying trends in what “community” means today, and how it manifests itself across our lived experience. Changing audiences and needs for shared spaces to play, learn and collaborate, are quickly rewriting the role of virtual communities in society. In this participatory Twitter dialogue, we’ll deep dive into white space for new solutions across current and next-gen community platforms, as enablers for a more hopeful future of community.
This initiative is part of a broader campaign by The American Association for the Advancement of Science illuminating the wide-ranging ways science and scientific media in its many forms benefit society at present and will continue to do so in the future.
